The match between South Korea and Czechia was not very ordinary.
South Korea came from behind a goal to beat Czechia 2-1, completely dominating the game against the Czechs, who didn’t have a shot on target until just before the hour mark.
Czechia struck first, but couldn’t control what followed.
That changed when their captain Ladislav Krejci headed an incredible long throw-in from Vladimir Coufal it reached the penalty area to Krejci who didn’t miss the net, opening the score sheet in the 59th minute.

Before that, South Korea had already been testing that, with Heung-Min Son captaining his nation and being involved in 5 of 8 South Korea’s efforts in the first half with his biggest chance being blocked by Czech goalkeeper Matej Kovar.
South Korea didn’t get disheartened after being a goal down but rose from it.
Hwang In-Beom inspired the comeback after an equaliser, faking the shot, to scoop the ball over the keeper, just 8 minutes after Czech’s goal.

Czechia attempted to respond, but it wasn’t meant to be, Czechia found the net in the 78th minute, but was ruled offside.
Oh Hyeon Gyu tapped home the cross from hwang to seal the victory.
This win was sealed courtesy of Kim Seung-gyu, South Korea’s keeper who made multiple meticulous saves especially denying Adam Holzek’s effort in the 82nd minute.
South Korea ended the match 2-1 against Czechia, turning around a deficit.
