Barcelona was dominant from the very first minute of the match.

They had great positions early on and didn’t take long to open the scoresheet.
The opening goal came from Frenkie de Jong, who broke through Osasuna’s backline. His pass to Balde was key as his cross went straight to Ferran Torres who found the back of the net.
10 minutes later it was the chance of Barcelona’s midfield maestro. Pedri delivered a brilliant pass finding Dani Olmo. He was taken out by the Osasuna goalkeeper. The referee signalled for a penalty.
Dani Olmo’s penalty was saved at first but VAR signalled for a retake as Herrera didn’t have either foot on the line.
Olmo made no mistake on the retake, confidently burying the ball past Herrera to double Barcelona’s lead.
Dani Olmo was injured during the penalty sequence and was replaced by Fermin Lopez.
Barcelona didn’t stop dominating yet missed a lot of opportunities which could have increased their lead.
Hansi Flick made a change at half time, getting in Pablo Torre for Frenkie de Jong to rest him.
Barcelona lost their grip on the game, allowing Osasuna to create chances.
Sensing the need for more attacking presence, Flick introduced Robert Lewandowski to stabilize the frontline.
Osasuna pushed forward aggressively during a throw-in but ended up losing possession. Pablo Torre shot the ball to Fermin who made a perfectly placed cross to Lewandowski who headed it at the back of the net adding to the scoresheet.
With a comfortable three-goal lead and just 10 minutes remaining, Flick took the opportunity to rest Pedri and Balde.
Barcelona played extremely well despite the players just coming off international duty.
With this amazing victory, Barcelona now on top of the table 3 points clear of their arch rivals Real Madrid.
