Barcelona are unbeaten since the start of 2025, facing Real Betis at home.

Barcelona had a fast start to the game. The early chance came from a rocket shot from Pedri which forced a save from Adrián. Ferran Torres split the defense with a clever through ball, and Gavi made no mistake, slotting it past Adrián to give Barcelona the lead.

Real Betis didn’t lose composure despite being a goal down.

They had a clear strategy of counter attacking with pace. In the process they won a corner which quickly proved to be the equaliser.
Giovani Lo Celso took the corner, sending it into the box as Natan buried it into the net by a header.

Barcelona despite creating multiple chances couldn’t finish it.

The second half saw Betis making a substitution bringing on attacker Chimy Ávila and taking off defensive midfielder Sergi Altimira.
Yet Barcelona controlled the ball in the midfield.

Pedri created another brilliant chance for Kounde whose shot was saved by Adrian.

Towards the end of the game Betis parked the bus completely changing the formation to 5-4-1, yet Barcelona made some impressive chances to create some danger.

Barcelona and Real Betis settled for one point each. A win would have seen Barcelona pull six points clear at the top, but they’ll now have to settle for just a one-point buffer.

As the league processes further the matches will only get interesting to watch.
