After a stunning performance against Al Nasser in the AFC 2, FC Goa played three games that arrived quickly and demanded instant sharpness.
Despite the continuous matches with less recovery time, the team showed a mix of early-season rhythm, moments of decisive quality, and phases where structure and control stood out.
The defending champions played Jamshedpur FC in the Super Cup opener.
This fixture occurred in the last season’s Super Cup Finals where FC Goa won 3-0.

The defending champions won, completely dominating the game.
Similarly, they got going with the second fixture against Inter Kashi.
FC Goa were in complete control of the game, it took them only 3 mins to net the goal scored by Dejan Drazic and a brace by Borja Herrera within 4 mins (38’, 42’).
Inter Kashi was completely dispossessed from the defence to the forwards.
THIS WIN SEALED THE GAURS A PLACE IN THE SEMI FINAL.
With their place in the semifinals already secured, the Gaurs approached the final group stage match against NorthEast United FC calmly.
Northeast United kept resisting FC Goa’s attempts before netting twice.
FC Goa had some strong attempts on goal which were really close but Dipesh Chauhan stood strong in the goal making several crucial saves.
Alaaeddine Ajaraie was a constant threat for FC Goa, constantly threatening to score.
Despite all the attempts, Northeast United FC emerged with a 1- 2 win over FC Goa with a really strong performance.
Despite the loss, FC Goa already made a place for themselves in the Super Cup semi finals.
They’ll face Mumbai City FC on the 4th of December 2025 at the Fortress.
