FC Goa faced Kerala Blasters FC in the Fatorda Stadium on February 22, 2025, with tangible excitement. With both sides vying for critical ISL points, this was going to be a thrilling match. It did not disappoint
Fcgoa tried their best offensively since the beginning.
One such moment is from a corner by Yasir crossed the ball to McHugh where the header went downward on the right side.
The first half was goalless as both teams were equally under pressure .
Dejan Drazic’s strong shot in the second half forced Kamaljit Singh to make a save, ending the match’s standoff. Nevertheless, the Kerala goalie was only able to parry the ball into Iker Guarrotxena’s path, who promptly scored the rebound to give Goa the lead.

Guarrotxena wasn’t done yet. He turned provider with a bit of trickery, setting up Yasir Mohammad for the second goal. Yasir’s finish was clinical, sealing the victory for the Gaurs.
Interestingly, Yasir had scored in the exact same style against Kerala Blasters a year ago—and even celebrated in the same way!
